I am a firm believer that God does everything with a purpose and plan in mind. Have you ever felt like a part of your life was wasted? Maybe you spent time in a bad relationship, or you took a position that didn’t advance your career. When we look back at some of those stagnate events in our life, it could almost seem like we wasted our time.
We could have caused our own stagnation, or it could have been part of our testing season. Either way, trust that God is working all things out for our good. I am reminded of the words Paul penned to the church at Thessalonica. For you yourselves know, brothers, that our coming to you was not in vain. 1 Thessalonians 2:1
Even when things don’t look as they should from our perspective trust that God has another view. It is our individual choice to waste time while we are in a particular season of life. If you find yourself “stuck” in a place that doesn’t seem to go well do what you can to make the best of that situation. If you are stuck in position use the time to minister and witness to those around you. God is using your time to grow and mature you even when you cannot see. You could be the only piece of God that other’s see. So today I encourage you not to see your place as wasted time but see it an opportunity to show God’s love to others.
Katrina Walker I look so forward to reading your blog when you post it. Please keep moving forward in Jesus name.
