Day 14 of 21: Know Who Is In Control

Even when we face the toughest situations and the worst imaginable, we must realize that God is in control. I heard the most amazing sermon Sunday that talked about the story of Joseph. The text was, As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today, Genesis 50:20, ESV.
I love the story of Joseph because we gain insight on how God works in our lives. Even in our darkest hour, God is still present. We cannot even begin to understand why God does what He does.
While we are looking in the present at the situation before us, God has a much higher perspective. In this season of my life, I have faced so much hurt. But I am confident that my hurt is for a far greater purpose.
The pain that I have felt these past few years are to grow and change my ministry. Walking in my ministry, I only had so much to offer. God has allowed things to transpire so that I can be a model and an example to others.
I cannot wait for the next season in my ministry. Know that God is alive and active. He is present in our situation and circumstances. Be confident He is working it out for YOUR good!
