Meet Katrina!
KATRINA ELIZABETH WALKER walked in her gift of speaking at age 13. Katrina’s speaking initially began with scripture and poetry; it later transformed into an intricate lace of theology with original verse and prose.
It was in her teenage years Katrina began to teach and work with other youth. On January 25, 2009, at age 21 she approached the pulpit for the very first time, with a message from Galatians 6:7-10, entitled “Embracing the Opportunity,” where she encouraged parents to be mindful of the seeds that they sow into their children. In the years leading up to her, licensure Katrina found herself in various pulpits reciting poetry, leading the service and even as the guest speaker. Katrina’s call was confirmed when she could no longer be satisfied by simply studying and teaching the Word. Katrina answered the call on July 26, 2015, and was licensed to preach by Rev. Kippie C. Brown at Springfield Baptist Church, Greenville, SC.
Katrina is a gifted speaker, teacher, and preacher with a ministry that goes far beyond the local church. She serves as Youth Pastor at Greater New Hope Baptist Church located in Simpsonville, SC. She also teaches Christian Education classes and workshops at the state and local levels. Katrina’s ministry also has a national presence, being accepted into the 2018 Baptist Women in Ministry mentoring cohort. In addition to her personal ministry, she serves as a consultant for Pastors and congregations.

Professionally, Katrina has over 15 years of experience in healthcare and will soon be entering her eleventh year as a Registered Nurse. Currently, she works directly with customers in the healthcare benefits sector. Her past roles include working in education, nursing administration, and organizational development.
Katrina has a love for Greenville which is evident in her service to her local community. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
