I have been hurting, and I have been angry. Emotions that cause me to lash out at times. I try not to question God or get mad, but it happens. I know God’s plan is bigger than what I can see but sometimes I just don’t get it. God, why am I going through? Why do I have to deal with this emotional roller coaster? I could ask questions all day or I can choose to be confident in God’s plan.

Today I encourage you to not only trust God but show your love and appreciation for Him. I’m reminded of: I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1

The psalmist here tells us that he will bless the Lord at all times. All is pretty specific, it doesn’t leave much room to ask questions or voice concerns. God deserves my praise even when I don’t understand what He is doing.

Through my hurt, I praise you, God. Through the pain, I praise you God. Through loneliness God, I give you all the praise. No matter where you take me, God, I will trust and praise you. How can you praise God in your situation? Remember he is right there with you and for that He is worthy to be praised.
