Is it possible to reconcile with your persecutors? As we look at, biblical martyrs, not only did they forgive but they asked God to forgive those who sent them to their graves.

 My mom would always tell me to forgive everyone… we pray that daily. I would always come back with what if they don’t forgive me. She would always respond that is on them.

 Yes I’ve tried to reconcile and seek forgiveness for those who persecuted me. We have all been misunderstood, and instead of having compassion those opportunities were used to try to slander my name and reputation. Even when I wasn’t at fault I apologize only to receive additional hurt.

 If I have wronged anyone then I apologize. It is my sincerest prayer that those who I have hurt receive this apology and that we restore the relationship. If they choose not to accept, then that is well too. In Christ we are free. And I am choosing to seek freedom from the tension I have with others. Thank you, Father, I am no longer bound!
